Kindness & Love

I gave myself a guilt trip today so I finished another card for the CDAC challenge. I feel much better about it now that I've posted another card. :-)
This image is called Fan. I think it's really pretty, sort of Victorian looking. The paper is from the same collection as the last post, Websters Pages. I colored the fan with Copic Markers. V000, V12, V15, &YG63. I added some Ranger Glossy Accents here and there to add some texture and popped it up also. The Stamp stamp (hee hee) is from Whimsy Stamps. I bought two of these sets and the die to cut them out as well. The Flowers are Prima Caboodles, Ribbon & rhinestones are from my stash. The butterfly is a die from CC Designs over at All That Scraps. The Flourishes are a Marianne Die and I added Martha Stewart Tinsel Glitter with glue. The border on the striped paper is a Martha as well. I believe it is Victorian Lace punch around the page set. I just got it at Joann's, love the 40% off coupons!
Here's a close up of the Fan.
You can click on it and zoom in to see the shiny areas from the Glossy Accents.
Hope you enjoyed this post. Thanks for stopping by.

Maureen

I'm a little teapot

Here's a card I made for a digital challenge over at CDAC. And for some strange reason this morning I can't seem to get the "Link" option to work. What the heck is that all about I wonder?
Anyway this is the last day to add my card to the challenge and to tell you the truth, I haven't a clue as to where the time went. This is a progessive challenge and in order to compete you must post at least one for the free digital stamps offered. Yes, I did say free, and yes they are beautiful! I had great expectations for myself to complete all six images, well we all know how that can turn out.
I love this image so I started with it.
I just thought this paper was perfect with the image, so away I went with it! The paper is from Webster's Pages, a collection combo pack called, Hollywood Vogue & WonderFALL. So pretty & feminine. Notice the printed teapots and cup, how cool is that? I colored the teapot with my Copics. Fushias with R81, 83, 85, leaves with G20, YG61, 63, 67, and background of pot with E40 & E42. I glued the teapot to olive CS and then cut around it with scissors to give it a little dimention. I also popped it up with foam dots. The roses are hand made, which I love to do, Martha Stewart leaf punches, olive sheer ribbon and a cute little teapot charm from Whimsy Stamps, whom I might add has lovely charms and reasonable too. Some pretty irridesant jewels from Michaels, a little Thistle & Lime green Stickles, and done!!! Hope you enjoy & feel free to leave a comment, I do so love them! Have a great day everyone.
Hugs,
Maureen

With love

Here's a card I've entered in a challenge here. It is a challenge to use at least two punches, and you must have yellow on the card. I had a tough time finding two punches that I thought were decorative enough to go with my fairy. But good 'ol Martha Stewart came through for me! I seem to be leaning more toward Spellbinders lately than punches...... well I did say seems :-)
This is a Crafters Companion stamp from the Fairyoplis line, which includes the sentiment. Love these stamps! The flowers are a combination of hand made roses and Prima flowers as well. The pretty little swirls under the flowers are Spellbinder "Floral Flourishes".
I colored this image a few weeks ago, so I can't remember which colors I used, but I did use my Copic markers.
The shading on the Fairy and sentiment is done with Ranger distressed ink, Spiced Marmalade.
Hope you enjoy this card. Thanks for stopping by.
