Coffee Talk Inspiration from Heartfelt Creations

Hi bloggers. Time for some more of this wonderful Coffee Talk Collection.  I've used the Latte Art stamp set for my card today along with one of the borders from the Border Essentials that was released with this collection. So far I have figured out fifteen different ways to use this seven piece
versatile die! My roses are made using the Botanical Rose die and the little alphabet circles come in the Italiana Rivera paper collection. One more fabulous thing about Heartfelt Creations, almost all of their collections are interchangeable!

The complete instructions for this card and all my teammates wonderful projects can be found on the Heartfelt Creations Blog so be sure to check it out.

All Glammed Up for a girls night out!

Hi bloggers! I have a party dress all ready for you from Heartfelt Creations. This is another awesome stamp from the All Glammed Up collection called " All Dressed Up" Don't ya just love it! I think you could use this stamp for wedding, shower, birthday, or in my case a girls night out! I've added some roses to my card to glam it up a bit more and the background is in the fab paper collection. I adore the chalkboard look and I for one m glad it's hanging around a bit longer.

The All Dressed Up Die for this stamp has the dress and a rose corner & a boarder included in the set. The dress die cut the ruffles on the bottom so as to add dimension if you pop-them up with pop-dots, as I have done mine. Cool huh?
Thanks everyone for joining me today and you can find complete instructions for this card and all my teammates creations as well on the Heartfelt Creations Blog. Stop back in anytime.

HCPC-3679 Large Sparkling Poinsettia Cling Stamp
HCPC-3680 Sparkling Poinsettia Cling Stamp
HCD1-765 Large Sparkling Poinsettia Die
HCD1-766 Sparkling Poinsettia Die
Bottle Cap Inc. Super Strong Magnets- 1/2" X 1/16"
TSMP900- Memento Dye Ink Pad- Tuxedo Black
119391236 Carmine Red 3D Stamp Paint
119390736 Lime Green 3D Stamp Paint

The front cover is decorated with the Sparkling Poinsettia stamp and die set. I didn't glue my front and back covers and the decorations on the front until the inside was complete. Be sure if you are adding a closure or ribbons, glue them to the front and back before gluing down the designer paper. I made a clasp for my book but cutting two pieces of paper 1 3/8" X  6", adding a magnet in between the papers on one end. I added the decorative ribbon and metal embellishment to enhance my Christmas theme.

As I started to assemble my book I cut 1/2" X 8 3/8" strips and glued them in the spaces between each page. This was just a choice, not a necessity.  This was a learning curve for me as I have never worked with flip folds before, so it was a sort of learn as you go along thing. :-) When I cut my background sheets I measured the pages and cut the paper 6 1/4" X 8 1/4" and if I do another book I will cut the 12" X 12" sheets in tow 6" X 8" pieces and add a mat behind them. This way you can get two pages from one sheet of paper.
The inside front cover has a pocket created with one of the gorgeous corner dies that are part of this release with a photo mat tucked inside. The right side has a pocket created from one of the flipfolds. I think the original idea was to run it across the bottom of the page, but I thought it looked so much like a boot turned up this way, so I just went with it!
These pages have two of the flip fold pieces, the one on the left folds out to have thirteen sides to add photos, how cool is that> the right side is a single pocket to add as many photos as you wish.
These pages use just one flipfold on the right, which folds out to house twenty photos. The left side has a pocket I created with our new  three piece eyelet oval die.
These pages use two of the flipfold inserts, and small sweet pocket on the left to add photos or trinkets, and a large flip 6" X 6" pocket with a tab on the right. I also created a bottom pocket for designer paper and one of the three amazing new border and pocket die, ooooh so yummy!
These pages use one flipfold insert on the right, to hold six photos, and the pockets on the left were created with the wonderful new border and pocket dies. "Noel" & "Joy" letters were created with a page from the Italiana Riviera Collection and cut with a 3/4" round punch.
The last two pages of my book are a wonderful deep pocket on the left that will hold lots of photos and a flipfold on the right that will hold up to ten photos. The cute little film strip was made with a square punch and one of the new border dies coming out in our next collection.
I hope you enjoyed my little project and be sure to check out the other Design Team members on the Heartfelt Creations Blog for tons more ideas and there are a few videos along the way as well.
Thanks for stopping in today.

HC October Release- Italiana Riviera

It's time to slow down the daily pace, take a deep breath and embrace life with the new Heartfelt Creations Italiana Riviera Collection.  We invite you to stroll down the Italian coastline taking in the spectacular seaside views, open markets, and amazing architecture while allowing yourself to relax and get lost in an easy going way of life.  Feel the gentle breeze, breathe in the aromas of salty mist and mouthwatering eats as you pass by a harbor lined with delightful cafes and quaint little shops calling out to you to pause for a visit. Step through towering stone gates to meander through perfectly manicured vineyards boasting rows and rows of coiling vines filled with dense foliage and  plump clusters of exquisitely purple hued grapes.  Then as the sun sets, continue to take in the old world charm and beauty of the area as you relax in your villa, enjoying a glass of fine wine aged to perfection while jotting down all of the days wonderful adventures on an old fashioned postcard, pausing occasionally only to peer out the old stone window that reveals the most surreal view of lush gardens, stately mountains, beautiful flowers and that perfectly manicured vineyard.  At Heartfelt Creations we dismiss the misconceived notion that you are required to leave your craft room to experience the finer things in life...so come along with us as we invite you to explore the charm and elegance of the Italiana Riviera Collection!

Doesn't that just make you want to go on a European vacation? I sure do! My card today sort of encompasses all that the Riviera might offer, and the colors of this collection are nothing short of divine! The sides of my card are made with the new two piece die which is one of the dies in the Italiana Grape Clusters set. There are more of this type of dye coming in the future and I think you'll love them! I certainly hope you enjoy my project for today.

Heartfelt Creations Wednesday Inspiration

Time for another Heartfelt Creations piece. I've used a new medium today, well new for me anyway. I purchased a small set of Letraset Aqua Markers a while back and I'm just now getting around to using them. The are really easy to use and quite the fun change from alcohol markers. I've stamped my Enchanted Mum Clusters on cold press water color paper with Stazon ink so the stamping won't run as you add water. You can fin complete instructions for my card on the Heartfelt Creations Blog.

I hope you've enjoyed my card today and be sure to pop in next week for the new October release from Heartfelt, called Italiana Riveria. It's going to be delicious! So I'll see you then!

Heartfelt Creations Inspiration Wednesday

Well gang this is a first.........I FORGOT to schedule my Wednesday post. I am so embarrassed!
So here it is my sweet bloggers, a little late but better late than never, so they say.
I've been thinking about the Holidays coming up and I thought it would be nice to have a little treat box at each table setting for guests. Personalized of course, and filled with after dinner mints, Jordan almonds, little chocolates, or any other kind of treat. They really are quite simple to make and you can find the complete instructions on the Heartfelt Creations Blog. I have used the
Enchanted Mum Collection for my project, but you could easily adapt this for any Holiday by switching out the papers and embellishments. I found this idea on the web, and for the life of me I can't remember where,. I feel really bad not to give credit where credit is due, so I apologize to whoever created the idea for the little folded box that  inspired me to create these.

I hope you've enjoyed my little boxes and I do hope you try this yourself, they really are so much fun to make!
Thanks so much for joining me today and come back again.

Heartfelt Creations Sparkling Poinsettia Release

Merry Christmas everybody, happy holidays and seasons cheer!! Well not quite since it's been in the 80's the last couple days here which in my neck of the woods isn't anywhere close to winter. But I must say, there is no time like the present to get an early jump on our Christmas card making, right?  This Heartfelt Creations release Sparkling Poinsettia, is based in the  time honored traditional Christmas colors of red and green, my favorite I might add.  This release also has a pair of poinsettia dies and matching stamps that are absolutely stunning!  The ruffled edge of the petal dies are so unique and the veins in the stamps  make them like no other out there on the market today. The large Poinsettia die also has three holly leaves to accent your shaped flowers. My two cards today are complete opposites of each other, so as to show you that you can adapt this collection to any style or preference. My first card is a 6" X 6" and sort of "rustic vintage", if there is such a thing :-) using traditional colors with a touch of natural. I am also using one of the beautifully scripted sentiment pieces from the paper collection for the inside of my card.

My second card is a 5" X 7" piece made entirely of white and silver. The poinsettias on this card are  made from Vellum which I think are so elegant looking.
The complete detailed instructions for both my cards can be found on the Heartfelt Creations Blog, along with tons of Christmas inspiration flowing from my teammates, so be sure to go and check it out!
Thanks for joining me today and come back soon.
Hugs, Maureen

P.S. The weekly Wednesday post on the 22nd., we will be showcasing an addition to our super popular March "Peacock Paisley" release consisting of dies to cut the feather and Peacock stamps so you won't want to miss it!
