Happy Holidays!

Hi bloggers. I hope you all had a glorious Christmas. Mine was quiet, but really nice and I got lovely gifts too! Don't you just love presents? Funny how Christmas turns us into children for a few fleeting moments....... I love it!
I've made a clean and simple card for today's post using the Woodsy Wonderland Collection showing just how versatile Heartfelt Creations can be. I turned this 6" X 6" card from panel into a holiday card without much effort at all. I added the shaker element to make it seem more festive. I hope you enjoy it and are inspired by my creation.

You can find complete instructions for this card and mega amounts of inspiration over at the HC Blog so be sure to stop in. Thanks for stopping in today.

Woodsy Wonderland from Heartfelt

Hello bloggers, sorry I missed the release date for Woodsy Wonderland from Heartfelt Creations. I was without internet service for five days! What a pain.
If any of you watched the Create and Craft release on television, the paper pad alone sold out in less than an hour! I was lucky enough to have two projects featured on the show, and I must say they looked pretty good on T.V. !!!!
Here's a few words our sweet Tracey has put together for your reading pleasure. If this doesn't put you in a "back to nature" mood nothing will.

Take an adventure on the path less traveled and lose yourself in an enchanting woodsy wonderland filled with magnificent wildlife, beautiful scenic expanses and delicate field flowers.
Heartfelt Creations invites you to explore the new Woodsy Wonderland Collection. Step softly as to not spook the peaceful inhabitants or trample the native wildflowers as you set about exploring your surroundings.  Immerse yourself in a stunning paper collection showcasing a beautiful outdoor themed color palette of rushing river blues, orange and yellow sunset hues, grass like greens accented with the softest wildflower whites, deep purples, and posy pinks, pulled together and grounded with dark tree bark browns, sky blues and moss like greens.  Discover charming cottages, babbling brooks, and grassy fields boasting home to majestic deer, chattering squirrels, prancing skunks and frolicking foxes.  Bold stripes and crosshatch patterns will remind you of trampled wildlife trails, creating eye catching backgrounds for the tiny woodland creatures depicted on the varying sizes of pre-made card panels or within the three extremely detailed and realistic forest themed cling stamp sets which provide the ideal elements for creating your very own woodsy wonderland on your next paper crafting project.  Pair with the coordinating dies to create dimensional forest scenes laden with fallen tree stumps, grassy knolls, darting rabbits, scampering raccoons, decorative butterflies and song filled birds all at play in majestically treed forests!  So, breathe deeply, exhale and allow the beauty of our enchanting woodlands to bring a sense of wonder, calm and peace to your soul as you craft your cares and worries away in the tranquility of our Woodsy Wonderland Collection.

I created my card today using one of the Black Friday foldout bases and some of the new verses that were also released on that day. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it! Beware this post is picture heavy.

Here's a collage of the critters, there are more of them in this collection. These are just the ones I used in my card.

Thanks for joining me today and be sure to check out the HC Blog for bunches of inspiration.

Hugs, Maureen

Pampered Pooch Ornanment

Hi bloggers. All ready for Christmas? I'm done shopping, but that is about it. It's 18 days until the big day and I have yet to put up a tree. I wonder where the time goes? This coming weekend will be my decorating marathon!
My project today is inspired by my sweet little Pixie's dreams. I watch her dream and her little feet are scrambling like crazy, a quiet woof, woof, and I am sure in her slumber she catches the rabbit!
i was thinking if she could tell me what she wanted for Christmas it may look something like this. Not a vision of sugarplums anywhere in sight, but a tree hung ever so full of delicious doggie bones and plenty of friends to play with!
I hope you enjoy my ornament today, I think it's just too stinkin' cute"

Here's a close-up of the smiling face of Pixie's dreamy friend!

Be sure to stop in at the Heartfelt Creations Blog and check out all the beautiful inspiration this week.

Thanks for stopping in.

Heartfelt With Love as You Recover

Hello bloggers. What a gorgeous day it wad here in the north west. have you ever wondered why Wisconsin is called "north west"? Maybe because it is north and west of the great lakes? I'll have to do some research on that one! today is the last Heartfelt Creations post using the Blushing Rose Collection. This stamp is called Rose Stem, and it contains the large and small bud stamp so I turned it into a bouquet. I hope you enjoy it. Remember you can find complete instructions on how I achieved this on the HC Blog.

I remember when I worked at the flower shop and we would get in these roses, called 'Sterling Silver" and I still remember the scent of them. I was the best of all the rose I think, umm heavenly!

Thanks for stopping in today and stay tuned for next weeks new release!

A Heartfelt Creation with Creative Embellishments

H bloggers! Hope you are having a great week so far. Things here in the mid-west are winding down. The days are shorter and the nights are a bit colder as we inch closer to the dreaded "W" word. Oh I am so NOT ready for it, and I mean that literally! I am hanging on to fall as long as I can. My project today, made with Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose and Blushing Rose collections is rich in fall colors and I have added these great embellishments from Creative Embellishments! I used the chipboard word and wooden fall leaves for my project. You can head over to their blog to some beautiful layouts , card, and altered projects. I think they have one of the very best collections of chipboard and wood laser cut embellishments I have ever seen. The intricate detail in the pieces is spectacular!! The prices are great as well, oh and I almost forgot, they are having a Design Team Call right now which closes on Nov. 14th. Check it out girls and guys. I say, jump right in and get you feet wet! Enjoy!

Remember to head over to the Heartfelt Creations Blog for complete instructions for my window, and check out all the lovely pieces accented with this great companies pieces.

Heartfelt Clean and Simple

Hello bloggers. I am trying my hand at clean and simple this week. I have never been very good at it, but every now and again I give it a try. I thought the Blushing Rose Collection image called
Blushing Rose Swirls was so pretty I didn't want to take away from it.  I colored it with the Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers, what a zinger of a name, huh! They are wonderful to work with and there are quite a few tutorials out there for them. I am loving them so far! I stamped the image with Versamark and used white embossing powder. Something new for me with water coloring and I think the look is fantastic.

I hope you enjoyed my card today and you can find complete instructions on the
Heartfelt Creations Blog, along with tons of inspiration from my teammates.
Thanks for stopping by today.

Heartfelt Creations Blushing Rose Release

Hello bloggers, how are you today? This release is an addition to last months Classic Rose and it is called Blushing Rose Collection from Heartfelt Creations of course! I love this one and once again our monthly author divine, Tracey, has written an exquisite description for this one. I truly think this girl should write a book or at least some poetry. Every month her words thrill us all. Aren't we lucky?

Imagine a pristinely decorated, old fashioned parlor filled with charming antiques, vintage wallpaper and the finest assembling of handsome rose patterned china offering up delectable treats and deliciously fragrant tea!  Amidst the refreshments, and scattered throughout the quarters you are drawn to lavish rose bouquets in every color imaginable, plucked from the pristine rose garden just outside the elegantly draped garden doors. As you glance around it is clear that this exquisite sitting room has been adorned for a very special occasion!  Heartfelt Creations invites you to sit, relax and indulge as they unveil the new Blushing Rose Collection!  Soft in hues and striking in patterns, this newest rose themed release will have you reminiscing of old fine bone china, lace tablecloths, and elegantly wallpapered sitting rooms.  Delicate images of swirling roses, fluttering butterflies and vintage scripted postcards nestled among old fashioned wallpaper like stripes, beautiful brocades and decorative lace accents have been gently set against calming tones of pale yellows, mixed blends of greenish blues, and soft lilacs.  The delicate, illustrations of rose clusters and single stemmed roses found within the cling stamp sets will bring back memories of the ravishing patterns on Grandma’s finest tableware that were kept behind glass and only made an appearance for the grandest of occasions.  Paired together with the coordinating stamps, the ornate dies in this collection will allow you to create enamoring rose motif die cuts perfect for all of your paper crafting needs.  A large focal background stamp, along with a full assembling of all occasion sentiments are the perfect window dressings to complete your soft and romantic vintage style rose themed creations. We invite you to enjoy the finest in paper crafting as we present the Blushing Rose Collection!

So here you go, my inspiration gathered from this bounty of gorgeous stamps and dies. Enjoy!

Here's a close-up of this wonderful image, oooh, ahhhhh, sigh.......

Thanks for joining me today and remember to fly on over to the HC Blog for all the rosy goodness and complete instructions for each and every project.

I am hoping this isn't what they call "Indian Summer", way too early for that. Whatever it is I'll take it! I used the Chameleon markers for this image, love the violet colors. Anything that is even closely related to purple sets my heart all aflutter! I hope you enjoy my creation for today, made with the Classic Rose Collection from Heartfelt Creations.

Thanks for stopping in today and remember you can find complete instructions for my cards, plus a lots of my teammates wonderful work on the HC Blog.

Heartfelt Creations Wednesday Roses

Hi bloggers. Well now that fall is officially here and the dredded"W" word is around the corner, I needed to mark something bright and cheerful. This Classic Rose collection from Heartfelt Creations is certainly the way to cheer myself up! I adore the color range in this paper pad this month, it has something for everyone. I chose to color my roses this time with the Chameleon markers I was gifted and went with pretty peach tones. Still in the fall color family, but not quite the full blown maple and oak leaves, acorns, cranberries, pumpkins, squash, etc. I love all those things, don't get me wrong, just can't wrap my head around the fact that summer is over (sad face). I hope you enjoy my card today, no fall and all! Oh yeah, I forgot, I threw a butterfly in there for good measure.

You can find complete instructions for this card on the HC Blog and lots of wonderful inspiration from my teammates, so be sure to check them out.

Hugs, Maureen

Make sure to stop over to the Heartfelt Creations Blog today for a ton more projects to inspire you.

Heartfelt Christmas Tag

Hi bloggers, did you all have a great long weekend? I was canning Salsa! Absolutely nothing like homemade, yummy. Today I have a tag for you that uses the Snow Kissed Collection from
Heartfelt Creations, but I tweaked it a little to look vintage. I taught a Copic class some time ago that had three different ways to color snow, blue gray, & vintage, which is what I colored this little guy. I made a wreath from the little branch that comes in the Gift Box and Mini Snowflakes Die. I thought it sort of reminded me of Mistletoe. I used one of the Creative Embellishments chipboard words to add to the center of it, after coating it with Gesso & then some Distressed rock candy glitter.
I hope you enjoy my tag & you can get the complete instructions on the HC Blog.

Here's a close-up of the wreath, love it!

Thanks for stopping by today and come back next week for our new release!

Once again I can't say enough about Heartfelt Creations paper collections. If you need a card in a hurry, all you have to do is pluck a scene from the pre-colored images of the paper pad, cut, glue, embellish a little, and you are in business my friend. I hope you enjoy my card today I just love how it turned out and hope you do too.

Wintery Inspiration from Heartfelt Creations

Hi bloggers. Seems almost hateful to think about winter coming, but it always does, like it or not. But if I must think about winter then I guess I rather be working on a Heartfelt Creations project more than anything else! My card today is another part of this wonderful mix of images from the
Snow Kissed Collection. I mean who doesn't love a sleigh ride, right? And the trees........well I think they are to absolutely die for!  So enjoy my card for today, and maybe along the way you'll stir up a little wintery inspiration for yourself.

Here's a close-up of the sweet little scene I placed on the inside of my card and used the snowflake for a cut out to give my card that diorama feel.

Thanks for stopping in to visit with me for a while today and come back again. You can find complete instructions for my card and so much more at the Heartfelt Creations Blog.
